Join our team: we are hiring a trailer driver in Lenawee County, Michigan. You will work at a haulage company. The role involves: • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Confident with manual handling and load securing At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
