Framing carpenter — Kittitas County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Kittitas County, Washington. Day-to-day duties: • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions Requirements: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Own basic hand tools At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
