Plastering hand — Screven County

Now hiring: we are hiring a plastering hand in Screven County, Georgia. You will be based on a commercial fit-out project. Ideal candidate: • CSCS card or willing to obtain one • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic Your main tasks: • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
