Steel fixer — Benton County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixer in Benton County, Oregon. You will work on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. What we are looking for: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations On a typical shift you will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; assemble column and beam cages on the bench. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
