Laundry presser wanted in Marshall County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a laundry presser in Marshall County, Iowa. The job is in a tailoring workshop. You will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron. You should have: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
