Immediate opening: slinger signaller (Florida)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Jefferson County, Florida. You will be based at a power plant. You will select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket $16 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
