Single needle operator — Salt Lake County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a single needle operator in Salt Lake County, Utah. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. Your main tasks: • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension You should have: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Full-time, day shift.
