We are recruiting: we are hiring a plastering hand in City of Norton, Virginia. You will be based on a commercial fit-out project. Requirements: • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • CSCS card or willing to obtain one • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish Day-to-day duties: • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
