Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances On the job you will handle: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) Part-time with flexible hours.
