Vacancy available: VMC operator (England)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a VMC operator in West Northamptonshire, England. You will work in a die and mould making unit. The role involves: • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm Requirements: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls Six days a week, one day off. £2,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
