Day-to-day duties: • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter Requirements: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances 6+ years on the tools preferred.
