Power press operator — Dallas County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a power press operator in Dallas County, Arkansas. You will be based in a sheet metal stamping unit. Day-to-day duties: • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
