Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar installer in Copper River Census Area, Alaska. You will be based at a high-rise construction project. On a typical shift you will read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; assemble column and beam cages on the bench. Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
