We are recruiting: press machine operator (Virginia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a press machine operator in Bedford County, Virginia. You will work at a busy press shop. On a typical shift you will top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; record output and downtime on the production sheet; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided.
