Bricklayer — Towns County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bricklayer in Towns County, Georgia. You will be based on a busy housing site. On the job you will handle: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder You should have: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Full-time with occasional weekends.
