You should have: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant The role involves: • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Refuel the machine and record running hours Part-time with flexible hours. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
