Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigger in Woodford County, Illinois. The job is on a high-rise building site. Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams The role involves: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists Six days a week, one day off.
