Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tig welder in Biu, Borno State. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight On a typical shift you will grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
