Lathe operator — Knott County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lathe operator in Knott County, Kentucky. You will work in a packaging factory. What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery The role involves change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; set up and start the machine as per the job card; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
