Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Lamoille County, Vermont. You will be based in a job-work machining unit. Requirements: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges The role involves set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes.
