Turning centre operator — Frontier County

Now hiring: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Frontier County, Nebraska. You will work on the CNC turning shop floor. Day-to-day duties: • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish Ideal candidate: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Rotating shifts.
