Immediate opening: we are hiring a head butcher in Henderson County, Tennessee. You will work at a wholesale meat market. You should have: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter On a typical shift you will weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; season and marinate meat on request; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights.
