Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane rigger in Audubon County, Iowa. The job is in a steel fabrication yard. On the job you will handle: • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Confident with standard crane hand signals Rotating shifts. We offer $200 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
