Now hiring: we are hiring a coating plant operator in Ottawa County, Michigan. What we are looking for: • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes The role involves: • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun We offer $19 per hour plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
