Gantry crane operator — Teungo

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Teungo, Adamawa State. The job is in a steel fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Strong attention to safety and load limits On the job you will handle: • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
