Immediate opening: we are hiring a punch press operator in Panola County, Mississippi. You will carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; record output and downtime on the production sheet; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges. What we are looking for: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
