Ironing operator — Jackson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an ironing operator in Jackson County, Iowa. Your main tasks: • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing What we are looking for: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
