Vertical transportation technician • Sumter County, Florida

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Sumter County, Florida. You will work in a machine room on the rooftop. On the job you will handle: • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches Ideal candidate: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Rotating shifts.
