The role involves mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel. Ideal candidate: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker Full-time with occasional weekends.
