MIG/MAG welder — Athens County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Athens County, Ohio. What we are looking for: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Day-to-day duties: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits.
