Truck driver — Jefferson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a truck driver in Jefferson County, Kentucky. Day-to-day duties: • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules You should have: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Valid digital tachograph card • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Share your details and we will call you back.
