Lifting rigger — Dundee City

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Dundee City, Scotland. You will work at a power plant. Day to day you will calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads. Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
