Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry operative in Echols County, Georgia. The job is at a brass and bronze foundry. The role involves: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities What we are looking for: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Full-time with occasional weekends.
