Conventional mill operator — East Lothian

Great opportunity: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in East Lothian, Scotland. Your main tasks: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production Ideal candidate: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery 5+ years on the tools preferred.
