Day to day you will check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; present documents at weighbridges and check posts; top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops.
