Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Greene County, Indiana. The job is on a structural steel site. Day to day you will tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Full-time with occasional weekends.
