Vacancy available: furnace operator (North Carolina)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a furnace operator in Wake County, North Carolina. You will mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects. What we are looking for: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
