Cnc lathe setter wanted in Polk County

Join our team: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Polk County, Texas. You will be based at an auto-components manufacturing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers You should have: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $6,750 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
