Immediate opening: we are hiring a pressman in Polk County, Georgia. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Your main tasks: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
