Bakery assistant — Forsyth County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Forsyth County, North Carolina. You will work at a café with an on-site bakery. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Basic cake decorating and piping skills You will load and unload the deck oven with a peel; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
