Turning centre operator • Clearwater County, Idaho

Immediate opening: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Clearwater County, Idaho. Day to day you will change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); write and edit G-code programs at the control; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances. What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $19 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
