You should have: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges On a typical shift you will key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
