Rebar installer — Alimosho

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar installer in Alimosho, Lagos State. The job is at a high-rise construction project. Day-to-day duties: • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
