Vacancy available: we are hiring a precision welder in Crane County, Texas. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection On the job you will handle: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges Full-time, day shift.
