Great opportunity: container truck driver (Virginia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a container truck driver in Isle of Wight County, Virginia. You will be based at a container freight yard. Your main tasks: • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load Requirements: • Valid digital tachograph card • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
