Great opportunity: uPVC welding machine operator (Alaska)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Anchorage Municipality, Alaska. Ideal candidate: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres Your main tasks: • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
