Urgent requirement: trowel-trade bricklayer (Borno State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Maiduguri, Borno State. On a typical shift you will cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel. What we are looking for: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Meals and transport allowance provided.
