Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry operative in Ibadan North, Oyo State. Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Your main tasks: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
