Automotive refinish painter — Johnston County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an automotive refinish painter in Johnston County, North Carolina. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners Day-to-day duties: • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish 6+ years on the tools preferred.
