Vacancy available: we are hiring a bench joiner in Saint James Parish, Louisiana. What we are looking for: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work Day-to-day duties: • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw 1+ years on the tools preferred.
